Forging the Iron Serpent
How this portfolio became a living 3D command console — auto-rigged serpents, geodesic spines, and a hologram pipeline in vanilla three.js.
This site is not a template. The Iron Serpent you see on the home console is a single fused mesh that gets auto-rigged in your browser at load time: the code welds vertices, walks the surface from the platform seed, traces a geodesic spine, and drops six bones onto it with smooth skin weights.
Every channel you open is served by the serpent itself — the camera chases its crown, and the panel is projected from a beam anchor that rides the head bone.
Stack: vanilla three.js, zero build step, PHP + SQLite for this blog. Written in Riyadh.
